What is B-wear?
hat maker i believe in oregonWhat is B-wear?
he sews great, thats why I could not fathom the non centered snap----------i was to say the least ****ed, I wanted more hats, a so simple center and yet so far away, - i was hoping for a Whoops, sorry i will fix it or send it back and i will make a new one, half off on another hat etc. , but i actually had to guilt him out on many a emails , i told him let your conscious be your guide on the outcome and 10.00 was his reply---------wow-- i mean granted he has low charges for hats, no doubt, but make them right is all i ask , right oh well

California , my badThanks Bro Cavefish
no affect at all but , it was way off not just a little , i fixed it , sewn it tightYes.. I must say, though, that the off set snap mistake on the B!Wear doesn't seem to effect the appearance of it when worn snapped.

lately i have been seeing these city hats advertised i live next to a village hatter company, they wear a little tight in the head area for me, i have a couple from the outer hebrides by Harris tweed , i love them but one is too small the other - well here is a pictureYeah, that snap was way off cavefish. I'd be p*ssed too if I shelled out good money for something that didn't meet up to the quality I expected. There's a couple of good cap makers here on the Lounge who could make you real nice one. City Sport makes a decent vintage looking cap for around $70 or so. This is a City Sport I'm wearing in the picture...and the quality's good on these Belgium made caps too...

Thanks , ones gotta have the drape , this hat has shrunk over time , rain and such and the roll that is a given , flat brims have no place or character, im my opinionThat, my friend, is a right looking cap! Great drape, great curve of the brim.......perfect!

I put a bend in my brims too. It definitely adds to the character. A lot of the newer manufactured caps, like City Sport, come with the material sewn to the brim. I usually cut that stitching so I can move the material around where I want to expose more of the brim and to drape it over to one side if I choose. Gives it more of a vintage styling. Thanks , ones gotta have the drape , this hat has shrunk over time , rain and such and the roll that is a given , flat brims have no place or character, im my opinion
