Pete, I fabricated the buckle. Etched nickel silver. I'll do it a bit differently next time, but it was a good experiment.

Just a cotton I think it is light weight fabric.

Not sure where in the US, but it's a 1920's football crowd. I thought the same thing, Dale. I was also struck by the high percentage of cap-wearers. Surely an economic explanation (working class), but some of these guys are quite dapper.

Interesting too, is that of the non-cap wearers, most are wearing bowlers.
