Oh, well then. Though i prefer the Stetsons, i have a couple of Borsalinos. Here is one that was recently resized for me by Art. This is really a beautiful hat. The felt is amazing. Cav edge, high crown, mid-sized brim.

That's pretty good going. I must average around there too. Most expensive ever was a $35 stratoliner (but then, i have a tiny head).

my most expensive was 78 for that brown borsalino. cheapest (excluding free) was two bucks for a mint '40's champ featherweight.

You ain't kiddin'. That '30s Borsalino I just won on eBay: it's got a thrift store price written on the sweatband in red grease pencil. Ready for this? Six dollars!

My silver-tan Alessandria was left me by a late friend of the family. It's in need of renovation (new sweatband, clean and block, and probably a new band for the crown as well). I wonder where I should send it.

The hat on the left is a 1930s Borsalino, made for the U.S. market. It just arrived today. I'm busy reblocking and stretching it a bit, so photos will have to wait. In any case, this Borsalino is a keeper and I choose it to induct me into the hallowed BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD.

Nope, that tweed one excomunicates you. PU!
