My "great aunt" gave me this telescope, it belonged to her late husband. She isn't sure what the era is, but she thinks it might be from around WWI. Any ideas?

Somehow I suspect it's much older than that. I'm wondering of there is any tiny detail information printed around the lens at the eye ball end.
