Summer Suits Advice/Opinion

My rule of thumb is that once the temperature gets above 75 it's too hot for a tie and above 80 too hot for a coat. However, today I was down the coast visiting MyTailor.com HQ and they let me look at the Minnis Fresco sample book. That is some amazingly airy stuff. It ain't cheap, none, a MTM suit running about $1500 but if you can afford it and want a cool wearing suit for the summer, this is the stuff. I need a new suit for the coming 'winter' (SoCal style, like 10-11 oz. material) but will be saving my shekels to hopefully order a summer coat and slacks around the coming March. Great stuff, Fresco.

A few days ago I had the chance to put my Palm Beach suit to the test and it held up quite well at temperatures of around 87 out in the sun.

Easy *****ing, *****ing it easy... ;)

I guess i was wrong, summer wools do work. I guess I'm going to buy one, anybody no where to get a quality one.

I live in South Florida. I wear linen and cotton poplin suits, and a few light weight wool trousers. But, linen is my standby. I don't mind that casually wrinkled look at all; with my carefree pocket square and tie keeping the top of my collar kinda closed...I am a handsome man in court!
