True to size, but on the wider/roomier side of things. If you’re able to try on a pair of Cheaney boots, I’d say the WL fit is quite similar to their 142 last.

I agree sizing is true to size but a bit roomy in the width for me. Also, when I ordered they had me trace my foot on a piece of paper and send a picture of the tracing with a measuring tape showing length and width so they could make sure I ordered the right size.

Did same, excellent quality but a refusal to make half sizes, my tracing indicated a 10 (usually 9.5) but on arrival was very loose in fit so was returned…

For those who own Solovair and DocMartins, do they fit the same? That is if I buy a Solovair in size 7, I can be assured if I bought a DocMartins in the same size, it would fit the same? (There is a DocMartins store near my house but no local distributor of Solovair. Wondering if I can try on a DocMartins and order a Solovair in the same size online.)

What's the sizing like on William Lennon?

I'm eyeing a pair of 178 boots but wouldn't be able to try them prior to order. Is the sizing accurate?

I have a pair of the B5s (ww1 pattern British boot) in a smooth black leather without the hobnails. Cracking pair of boots. They wear very similarly to my RedWing Iron Rangers. Both true to my regular size, nice fit through the foot with room to spread my toes, though that particular Lennon is a lower-profile toe compared to the toecap on the Iron Rangers.
