Soft/flexible moleskin or similar safari hats?

I'm looking for a premium looking safari hat, perhaps similar to a Stetson stc61, in a dark brown tone. However, I'd like one which I can jam into a backpack or a washing machine without thinking too much, rather than a stiff hat. Any ideas?

there are several brands that have the same style. I know a few people who have these and are happy with them.
