LD, I like that the New York Styles plus size patterns look like they are actually made for the larger lady!

I snagged this one cheap - saw it ages ago for too much $$$$ and too big for me, so pleased. AND it's NRA. Woot!

Some recent purchases:

I've traced out the 8yr blazer (which I posted before). The 4yr blazer is in factory folds and carries a warning for professionals to follow the civilian clothing (restriction) orders. The tie is from a FLounger. I need to get more of these traced so I can start working on them.

Ooo, nice finds Nick D- I especially like the tie pattern and I ADORE the early 40’s (about 41/42ish?) pyjama pattern too!!!

Miss T, I KNOW! The sleeves are the best! I have an evening dress with chiffon sleeves like this and they are heavenly to waft about in - although one does have to watch it where there are candles on the dinner table.....

Haha, I can only dream about such heavenly sleeves (Sigh) and I must say your evening dress sounds like an absolute peach! I shall take note for future reference that when wearing such a sleeve; I must stay away from 1. Lit table candelabras and
2. Any other naked flames...! Ah, what joy such a sleeve can bring!

1941, it's the only vintage Simplicity pattern I have that I can find a date on

I purchased this but received a pattern from the 60's instead. It's cute but not what I ordered. I am still waiting to find out if the sellar has heard back from the person who received my pattern.
