I just buy a hat when I like the style and the colour. I do not buy hats in extraordinary colours as they would not fit my dresses. But when I buy a dress or a suit I alway thing I need a matching hat...

I love the Greta model - beautiful! I think my other half may get a lil freaked out if I had one in the room, plus I need to buy some hats! I have my eye on a couple on ebay but I'm so broke I shouldn't be doing that!

I just did the hat making thing today: made a cloche and a J-Lo fedora (doesn't look hip hop fortunately). One matches a pink tweed and the other is a basic wool. Not too terribly vintage, but then I'm not too into hats and my kitten destroyed my other cloche.

I only have a couple of hats. I was bidding on a lot of over 30 of them on eBay, but I just lost.

I guess it's just as well. I have a hard time making them look good on me.
