Interesting! When was that then? It was a big local employer, and provided skilled job opportunities, but has gone the way of so many companies now.
Mind you, what I miss the most is the factory shop! So many nice items at dirt-cheap! I remember I bought about five or six silk scarves, all same pattern but different colours, for about £20, as well as knitted silk ties, jumpers, jackets, shirts - all sorts!

Oh it would have been in the 1980 I guess as she moved to Holland in the late 80's.

That's when my folks were there! It appears to me like the 1980s was its heyday, when they were expanding to include all manner of labels as well as still producing the wool and cotton blend that made them so famous (but which has all but disappeared now).

Thanks, and well.........technically yes, but with the inlay they're more like five or six piece tops.
