As much as I hate to say it, it looks like another one of those "20s does the 70s", but of course, we all know that the 1970s made these designs much more garish (and thicker).

Yes, it is. I dig the crazy pattern.
How wide is that tie? I picked up a couple recently I suspected were early/mid 50s but now I'm wondering if they are older. One has the pattern woven in like that.

If it doesn't have the label on the neckband or stitching around that are then its probably isn't.
Width doesn't defy the age of a necktie and sometimes neither does length.
