Reflections.

This is one of my favorites from the 60's on a Chicago Boys Club nature hike. It tells several stories... curiosity, camaraderie, wonder, appreciating our environment, giving a good boy an alternative to the street, and more. It engages me and takes me back.

Great photo and real memories. Just think, most of these young men were born in the mid-late 40s and are still alive and many are probably successful business people.

Thank you. That location is a bit like the center of a bowl, with the higher mountains of the Highlands acting as the rim. I thus know that when it has snowed at higher levels I am certain to find the surrounding peaks white while the lower levels are free from snow (even though that location itself is 1350 feet above sea level). To get there means a 5 - 6 mile hike, so a day hike for me.
