The Cannonball came through town today. For those that don't know, It's a cross country race, 4,000 miles on motorcycles made in 1937 or older. A real challenge for those riding bikes made over 100 years ago! There were 100 entries, and a lot of spectators, so imposable to get any shots with out people.

I wish I could have fit the entire car in the photo, but they put it right next to the free ice cream stand!

A neighbour of mine down the street was taking his gorgeous vintage automobile out for a spin in the spring sunshine yesterday. He let me in to take a picture of it. He said it was from 1938, but I forgot to ask the make of the car.

Does anyone recognise it?

Looks like it is a Pontiac Six Two Door. Pretty rare, since most restore the straight eight Coups.

I was thinking Pontiac too, but I couldn't get the pic big enough on my phone to see the details. Maybe he restored a 6 because down under you take what you can get.
