MissS - I have this problem sometimes too! I am not sure, but I think extended brushing is required to get your hair not separate back into ringlets. I haven't actually tried brushing and more brushing on mine yet - I am going with a more thirties feel to my hair right now so I am usually keeping a more defined curl to it. But especially my last set really wanted to go back to looking like I just pulled the rollers out. Any more thoughts on this - I would also be interested. Because as mine grows out I will want to do more of a page boy.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice compliments! Here's a really bad picture of me in rolls, but the bottom of my air wouldn't hold the curl - I used the curling iron and as usual it was gone halfway through the day. My hair is hopeless without a proper set.

I have to set my hair, too. Heated methods are useless on me. But, a set will last me three days.

Hamilton Honey you always have cute pics and GREAT rolls. Have you tried using a tiny barrelled iron? Would be very tight at first just like a set, but brush it out more.

You can't really see the three little rolls I put in at the front in this one. Here's another pic (also not very clear), but please pardon my scary stare!

how did you clip your hair to poistion that roll/curl at the front? same goes out to ohairas as she did pretty much the same do as she previously mentioned.

also, how long is your hair at the front when doin that style? i'm growing my bangs out you see so i'm trying to come up with as many different ways to put it up without it looking dumb!

I agree, it's all about brushing, brushing and more brushing under plus lots of hairspray! I used to have the same problem with the separating issue but have pretty much nailed the pageboy on the head so now know what I used to do wrong. The fabulous Nina the headresser said that my pageboy put her to shame so I must be doing something right! lol When I get round to it I'll post some pictures if you like. The way yours turned out is lovely though!

I never posted in this thread cause I only have about 4 hair-dos.

But I do have a lot of flowers.

Here is me today with typical side rolls.

Here I am snooded up with the same side rools just pushed up a bit.

Ive always wanted to wear this up do to some formal event. But never have, yet.

An everyday look with my front parted and just brushed up a bit.

Another up do brushed back.

My pomp. I rarely wear this, Im not that sassy.

And the two side flower do.

Thats enough.
