Here is a photo of my hubby and me after Nightcap (a one-night stand burlesque show) at the Triple Door in Seattle. MahagonnyBill's wearing his 50's suit and fedora and I'm in my Folkwear 30s Day Dress.

My hair has grown beyond manageable length for me I'm afraid. It also dislikes this length, and so I am off to get a femme fatale/middy plus cut on Friday (and will post the results of that in the middy thread as I believe I'm getting a free setting that evening as well!). Here's a pre photo from today for posterity's sake (you can see my misbehaved left side barely took as per usual):

Thank you my dear! I do, regularly. Although she's not as cheeky in that pic as when she was born at 9, 13.4! She's slimmed down a lot... even since that pic was taken.

Ladies, just a suggestion. Have either of you been at an event where a couple of hairstylists, one a redhead, the other, blonde, calling themselves: "The Bournemouth Bombshells" have been the resident vintage hairdressers, by chance?
Two beautifully presented vintage lovers, and neither of us can place either of you. It's driving us mad.

From shopping Saturday, when it was ridiculously hot here. I went for kind of a rockabilly ponytail with a rolled pomp up front to keep my hair up off my neck.

I've been growing my hair out from a pixie since last June. It's finally getting long enough to do stuff with.
I tried rag curls last week and had a major, unruly mess that I had to wash out. This week I decided to try pin curls.

I'm pretty happy with how my first attempt turned out:
