Rare German 1940-50's dark navy Curdoroy sport-jacket.
Red plaid cotton liner. Outstanding condition. A very comfortable leisure jacket.

Zippers by OPTI and HECO. Elasticated back, half-belt on front. Faux back pleats.

Size is a US 44-46 and thus too large for me.

Today at the flea market I just saw one German 30's overcoat in brown-beige herringbone.
Was also an Ulster with the ADEFA tag, very similar to the one I posted above. Very nice but it was to big for me and they shortened it very badly. So I passed by...

Think it was a German 52/54, but short arms and what I said: it was cut off nearly to the knees.
Yeah, I was thinking and checking and going there twice... But are you interested? Don't know the real price. What would be your limit? I thought of going there tomorrow again. Maybe it's still there. I would try...

Got myself two rare suits today! Pre war three pieces.

These are both probably Swedish.

I usually talk about our tailoring here in Sweden, Germany, etc. as the most exquisite kind. Now this one is something else! But still interesting.

It is unlined in heavy khaki fabric. Trousers do not look to be very well made I must say. I think It could benefit from a wash as well.

This suit turned out to be too big for me. It's on the medium/large side. PM me if interested.

The second suit I'm not sure if I'll keep. It is extremely heavy, warm and well made. Hand made buttonholes and hand sewn details. Check those out! Very nice condition as well. Thoughts?

Rough but rare! And in it's own way beautiful.
You should find someone here who has the size.

I probably would fit into the suit, but currently I am compelled to sell and not to buy more. *gag*

That black one is interesting. DB with 4 button-holes!
Very maritime. I think these were popular for Sundays best among N-European coastal areas.
(I have to think of Hans Albers in the movie "Große Freiheit Nr. 7" from 1944)

The black "peacoat" one is very interesting. There are 4 button holes on both sides, right?
Never saw that on a suit jacket, just on an overcoat. Is that common?

Should be 1938/39...

White sportscoat with patch pockets and grey flannels?

Strukture striped sports suit? The button stance of the DB suit of the old guy is nice, too.

Great photos! That's how I typically dress... sportcoat, flanells, tie.
To me it is a very relaxed and natural pose...

Yes, the boy far right is my grandpa - and I see what you mean:
He got 90 last year - still the same hair cut and still some kind of affected!
But I love the way he's dressed on the fotos... like Fastuni said.

German black three-piece suit... wonderful tailor-work from the mid-30's in very good condition.
Size is a UK 42 regular to short(ish) (25 in sleeves) with 38x31 in trousers.

The waistcoat has not 100% identical cloth but matches well with the suit.

If anyone is interested in more details let me know.
