Roll Lapel

Can a roll lapel be "made", or does the jacket need to be tailored as such? Can one creatively iron/press a roll?

I believe what you do, and someone please correct me if I am wrong is you iron the collar of the jacket against the back of the suit. Then you fold the lapel to the closed position & iron that flat.

You can press in a roll, but the classic "Brook's Bros. roll" is achieved by tailoring the suit as a two-button closure with three buttons.
