Rolex: A Dating Question

Can anyone tell me anything about this type of watch, regarding its actual vintage?

if that is the correct case back, the reference number 6427 dates the watch to the 1960s: http://www.antiquorum.com/watches/rolex/watches-5400098009.htm

I like the explorer dial, but have never seen the two tone thing before. I kind of wonder if the dial is an aftermarket modification. Sharp looking watch though.

Well, it came today.

Actually, it ISN'T two-tone like I thought, the middle section seems to be the same type and shade of stainless steel as the casing. Its really neat.

My Rolex is real

I got a real Rolex as a gift in 1985. I've worn it every day since. Great watch.
