I remember trying Ratafia at a party and liking it. I don't recall if it was homemade, but I want to try making my own while the summer fruits are available.
I've seen various recipes using all different types of alcohol. I think I'll end up using either Marc or Grappa.
Has anyone ever tried either a bottled or a homemade version of this? Anybody ever make Ratafia?
I'd like some ideas for a starting point.
