Radial engine cylinder and top

Anyone recognize what engine and plane this might originate from. It has been part of my living room for years now, and still don't know:

I'd guess either Pratt & Whitney or Wright.
Try a google search and see what you can find.
Looks like it might be a Wright Cyclone.

It's from a Wright R-3350 Cyclone, an 18 cylinder twin-row radial engine. This is the same engine that powered the B-29 Superfortress, as well as many other famous military and civilian aircaft including the Lockheed Constellation and Douglas DC-7. It also powered one of my favourite single-engined aircraft, the AD (later A-1) Skyraider:

Yes the cylinders do look almost exactly the same as mine. The only difference seems to be that on mine the inlet/exhaust ports are on opposite site on the one in the auction. But you are right it is a Wright.

Edit:Good idea to be awake when you look at pictures. Just discovered that my cylinder matches the rear set of cylinders exactly!
