Okay folks, here is my question: I know some were made from white or even tan canvas, but were other materials used? And if so, what? Thanks!
Not to hijack, but how does one determine the proper size? I own two vintage pairs I thought would fit my 9.5 D feet (they were marked 10) but they don't...
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. It seems to me that they are sized according to the cir. of the ankle....I have two vintage pairs, one is marked "10" and measures 10" around the ankle when fastened, the others are marked "9" and measure 9" when fastened. They are both a grey wool felt material with leather straps and were made in England.
Regards,
J.S.
