Sadly the listing failed to mention that Mary Wells Lawrence was the brains behind the iconic Braniff look. Harding Lawrence hired her to give his airline a makeover and was so impressed that he married her. She was also the first female CEO (Wells Rich Greene) of a NYSE listed corporation.
