*** Prince, 7 1/8, $50 on Etsy

It has a bit of mothing, and a hole apparently, but this is a decent price for a Dobbs *** Prince.

The *** Prince and similar hats are among my favorites. All of the ones I've seen have very soft felt and all had, oddly, been made into swiss cheese by moths, including the one I own. Any other experience with that?

I have this fedora and it is very comfortable to wear. At fifty bucks it's a steal. Hope a Lounger gets it.

Edit- no bites on mine.

I have a pair of *** Princes, one being identical to the present example save size. Even the feather seems indistinguishable. Lovely, supple felt with the hand of soft suede, which, along with many densely felted and finely pounced felt hats from the era, seem irresistible to moths and men alike. Both of mine are in excellent overall condition, with only a few isolated, small bites in the light-sand colored example.

One of the most instantly recognizable, truly iconic hats.
