I have a pair of 1970s Genuine Teju Lizard Florsheims. I found this out by contacting a shoe collector, but I don't know the value. I can't find any like them on the internet, so perhaps someone on here might know the value. If it adds any to the value I have the original box, and the price marked on the box is $59.99. I'm sure this is the original box because the numbers match all the numbers on the shoes. Here are some pictures of the shoes: http://s1079.photobucket.com/albums/w506/FaceOfPaul/

Thanks

Value is relative to what someone else would be willing to pay. Personally, I like Lizardskin shoes and the color of those is interesting and not often seen (compared to dark brown, tan or black). That said, lizardskin shoes from the 1970's aren't what we would call a "high demand item" (with a few exceptions). The buckle is very 1970's in style, which is also not what most shoe wearers/ collectors are looking for.

I wouldn't worry about "value" per se. If YOU like them, wear them and enjoy.

But, to answer your question, if they are new in the box, you may find an ebay buyer to spend maybe $75- $100 on them on a good day. If they are worn, even 1x, then less.

If they were Alligator, you'd be talking in the low hundreds for NIB, but that 1970's buckle will hold you back somewhat.
