It is indeed. I assumed it would go for much more or would have bid. Them's the beans. If anyone needs these (I do, but cannot afford them yet) JW sells a set of three for $300. He also has rounding jacks, incidentally. I think his curling shackles are posted early in this thread, but here they are again, with his rounding jack, from the web site:

John: Here are two pictures of my front and rear tollikers - the one is wood with a brass bottom and the second one is all wood.

I feel that this is a long-handled brim iron. This one was probably made in France. Look at the photo--the top one was made in America, the next was made in England and the two bottom ones were made in France. If you look at the bottom one, it is very similar to your photos, although yours might have been used for millinery work (women's hats).
