Glad to see this local one getting some love. Not the best part of town so I'm a bit surprised.
My wife and I drove by a batwing Phillips station a month or so ago. Somebody was using it to sell old farm equipment out of. It wasn't perfect, but at least it wasn't abandoned or torn down.

Passed what was left of this one on the way home from the river. It's on U.S. 31 about 15 or 20 miles north of Birmingham. I dig the V shaped awning.
