This sounds interesting - anyone ever see it?
This is a brand-new,factory produced re-issue of the classic British war film made in 1943 by Ealing Studios. NINE MEN follows a section of British troops cut off behind enemy lines in the Western Desert. When their lorry is attacked and destroyed by German fighter aircraft, the soldiers attempt to return to their own lines across the desert, but a sandstorm forces them to take refuge in an ancient tomb. They stumble across a party of Italian troops, also seeking shelter. Shots are exchanged and at dawn, the British troops find themselves besieged in the tomb by two platoons of Italian troops with armoured car support. Fending off all attempts to storm the tomb, the British soldiers launch counter attacks by night but water and ammunition are running desperately low and untimately everything hinges on one last bayonet charge.....
