I remember seeing this jacket on the IH forum, it was machine washed on high heat and then tumble dried on high heat too, which is a really really dumb thing to do IMO.

Yeesh - anyone who does that tov a leather jacket gets what they deserve!

One gets a replacement jacket.

But say we have had a HH schott jacket 'new' for a few years but never got to wear it and we find this?

Or that we have worn a HH schott jacket for years and then we find this happens?

What is the top coat made from?

I bet we could fix it with a leather top coat.

Also wouldn't a top coat cause leather breathing 'rot' issues like what some advise against with oily waxy conditioners that 'clog the pores'?
