I got it, TailendCharlie.

Your tune reached #19 in 1942, "Full Moon" by The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra

Full moon, when love is in flower,
You're bursting with pride filled with power;
Full moon, when kisses are tender,
Don't think it's because of your splendor,
Full moon, I know what romance is,
Enough of your sly, knowing glances;
"Long after stars close their sleepy eyes,
and the glow from a full moon dies,
My heart will still be full of love."

For P- dog and any one else
Back in Ohio where I come from
I've done a lot of dreamin' and I've travelled some
But I never thought I'd see the day
When I ever took a ride on the Santa Fe
(wanna take a ride on the Santa Fe)

OK, ladies and genlemen, name this tune-
"Have you got any dragons
That you want to have killed, baby?
I'll get into my seven league boots
I'll get into my ******proof suits
I'll get out my revolver that shoots
And rat-a-tat-tat-tat-at
Down they'll go"

Ya mean "Ojo Caliente", don't ya. The mineral springs are awesome. It's just a super place for family time. We always go hiking, biking, fly-fishing and horseback riding there.

This is a beautiful popular song that lovers of the 20s and 30s will recognise easily -

" I could be a king dear, uncrowned
Humble or poor
Rich or renown
There is nothing I couldn't do
................"

I guess I could try and attempt one of these, here.

I got to live on 40 oz
Of any kind of meet
Those 40 little oz
Gotta last me all the week

I gotta cut out all the jelly,
Takes sugar to make it sweet.
I'm gonna steal all your jelly baby,
And rob you of all your meat.

Ay Carumba!
222px-Bart_Simpson.png

Bart Simpson would have liked this vintage song!!

My hips are cracking, I am shrieking "Ay-Carumba!"
I got a wriggle and a diddle and a jiggle like a fiddle in my middle, ole?
This fancy swishin' imposition wears out all of my transmission ammunition.
Though I like neighborly relations all these crazy new gyrations try my patience.

I know the tune, but not the artist.

South America take me away.

"Out in the west, down by Santa Fe,
I met a cowboy, ridin' the range one day.
And as he jogged along,
I heard him singing,
A most peculiar, cowboy song.

It was a ditty, he heard in the city.
Kama ta ya ya, kama ta yip dee aye eh."

Name that one. =D

****** Packin' Mama!
Gotta love Bing with the Andrews sisters... speaking of which:

We have the stars to guide us
guitars here beside us
to play as we go
We sing and we samba
we shout ay caramba!
What means ay caramba?
Oh yes, I don't know.
