Great fit and colour. I've resolved to getting a B-6 in seal in the near future. I love my D-1, it's been a fantastic jacket this winter, just a bit lighter than an Irvin and ideal for the chilly, though perhaps not Polar Vortex-strength, weather...
No snow in Glasgow but the cold gets into your bones up here, it's a numbing, damp chill that's hard to shake. The Irvin's great because I can buckle the waist belt and trap the warm air in. I also feel the leather-backed Irvin collar is better designed for keeping the wind out without having to be buckled up.D-1's the only shearling I need Sloan, I've not missed the Irvin type since I sold it. Snowbound here in the South West today..took the dog out to play in the white stuff instead of going to work..D-1 on of course........
