A little hat-talk after the gig (we were the only hat-wearers in the room) confirmed my theory: It's a 30 year old Stetson OR, that has seen a lot of wear, sweat and stages. Great guitar player with one of the best voices on the contemporary blues scene! Fabulous night!

Probably not telling y'all anything you don't already know, but the guys above are actually the Dillards. The Dillards was a fairly influential band in the mid-sixties. They helped pave the way to what is now known as "country rock".

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Nudie suits for stage wear. I only wish more musicians would return to that look today. I like entertainers to look like the entertainment instead of the help.
