Noted, thanks. Y’2 has only ever made 2 grizzlies, one on their 20th and 25th anniversaries. The one I’m looking at is their 25th anniversary model, so that’s very helpful.

How would you compare Y’2 Grizzly to Mister Freedom Baloo? I’ve handled MF Baloo in person so I can use that as a point of reference.

I was surprised you said Y’2 Grizzly is “long in the body.” I’m looking at tag size 38, which measures back length at 21” from bottom of neck and 24” including mouton collar, which is relatively large.

The feel of the y2, was great if it fitted me I would have bought it.

I have two mister freedom (black/black and black /gold)

I love the fit, sits nicely on my waist. I'm 5'9

I would say quality wise the y2 is nicer.

I’m warming up to the idea of owning a grizzly. Eying a Y’2 Grizzly in indigo leather.

Has anyone owned or checked out Y’2 Grizzly and can speak about its quality?

The Grizzly jacket wears surprisingly easy and looks great IMO. Here is my Aero.

Given your size, you might find a good used Y'2 on a Japan proxy site if you're patient.

I tired on the RMC grizzlies. They are beautiful!

I love the pattern and colours of these jackets. I have not seen this in any other grizzly jackets.

Out of curiosity, do Grizzly jackets have a “western” or “cowboy” vibe? Much in same vein as cowboy boots and hats?

How do you feel about wearing a fitted fur vest on top of a leather jacket? That’s how you should view it.

I personally think the answers to your questions are no. But Millennials and Gen Z might perceive you as pro-exotic animal cruelty, a little more than just pro-animal cruelty for wearing a full grain leather jacket.

It was a jacket that seemed to be pretty popular when it was first introduced (as we know it). It seemed to be widespread in western, work, and city, and of course fashionable lifestyles.

I view them as an adult varsity jacket, I'm too old to wear the college style, but I do think the raglan shoulder looks great.
I sometimes forget how different they look to Modern styles

The 25th anniversary grizzly from Y2, its beautiful, warm and toasty, it definitely splits opinions, but I love it and thats what matters.
