I happened to check out those links, but they don't go to hairstyles threads (perhaps due to the forum change?).

Anyway, I style my hair with the "disconnected undercut" style. I have managed to do rather well cutting my own hair (surprisingly) after years of doing it on my own. I finally managed to get it how I prefer each part of it, after making slight changes every so often when I would cut it.

I never knew that the style I wear is called such until I saw on Gentleman's Gazette about it. I always thought it was just a nice vintage looking style. Never knew it had an actual name.

These were taken awhile back. I saved them for reference. They aren't the best, and there are many ways to alter this style, but the basis is long on top and short sides and back. Hope this is of some help.
