Sorry if there's already a thread on this.
I didn't post it in the tv section because it's mostly women's stories.

This programme has been on for a few days on a UK channel called yesterday.
It's about women from the war talking about their love affairs, babies out of wedlock etc.
Some of them are quite honest and go into details! Shocked me slightly.

Has anyone else seen it?

I've neither heard of it nor seen it, but it sounds really interesting.
I've always been drawn into things like that, especially about the past.
As creepy as that makes me sound... [huh]

I saw a bit of it but got bored quickly...

Yawn! So some young British women in the 40's had ***:

In the blackout!

Sometimes with 'Yanks'!

Sometimes with Canadians!

Sometimes with Black Commonwealth men!

When there husbands where away fighting!

Some of these women became pregnant!

They had to give up the baby, move, get thrown out, terminate illegally.

Sorry I'm a cynic. Not exactly riveting news is it.

I think women will find it a bit more interesting than the men. I think its because a lot of us have this predispose notion that ladies just didn't do that stuff back then.

I'm watching it on Youtube now.

I think it's very interesting, and very sad at some parts.

It's nothing new or shocking, but it's still very interesting to hear about other people's lives.
