Fits as about a size 7+. No country indicated so dating uncertain but likely 30's.

Did that one come from German eBay? I asked the seller for the measures and they promised me 52.5cm circumference, which convinced me not to buy it!!:eusa_doh: That is an OUSTANDING deal for a wearable size.:eusa_clap

I should have said 6-7/8 + about 1/2 size less than full 7 with a proper measuring device. If you measured at edge it comes out slightly larger.

Don't know how he came up with 52 unless he measured at the crown edge of the band..

For some reason the JHS paper label Point size is 1/2 size larger (any idea why?) so this hat should be 54cm.

The unusual + old C. G. Wilke I recently won was listed as 56cm but the seller reported a 21 cm front to back inside measurement so I took a chance. Probably end up being a 55cm!

J. Hückel´s Söhne Velour, measures 59cm, probably 1930s. Missing the liner but rare greenish Velour. Not sure of the model because the paper label is damaged. Same seller as the Elastic Melone.

I think this outdoor photo better represents the color and finish.
