Albertini de Luxe in grey. Has some moth nibbles, but i knew that when i bought it. It's a nice hat overall!

Do we know anything about that brand? I have seen that name used in other hats that, I believe, were made in Eastern Europe where the seller wants the buyer to believe the hat is actually Italian. That looks like the real deal though.

This is what i know, Daniele once posted this:
C. Albertini & C., Intra, exhibited numerous fine fur-trimmed felt hats for men. The company, founded in 1817, specializes in the manufacture of very fine men's hats and felt for hatmaking. It was the first factory to introduce the mechanical manufacturing system to Italy."
And i know it was situated nearby the Panizza factory at Lake Maggiore. So as far as i know it's an original Italian brand.
I don't know how old this hat of mine is actually, but i think it's a younger one!

I'm not sure what I have here, but I'll show this hat and share the information I have gleaned and see if anyone can assist with additional information. I do like this hat very much.
It is a very stiff, but clearly fine, felt, but obviously a fedora not a homburg or bowler). It was sold at Pietro Radiconcini & Figlio (the son, Alfredo, changed the store to his name fully by 1950) in Rome. This would plane the timeline of the hat into the 40's, at the latest. The seller claims 1930's.
The crown tip lining completely covers the branding of the hat, but it seems to state "Scitvs" ("Scitus", as shown on the sweatband). The photos are below, including the sticker under the lining.
Any thoughts or ideas on the branding or timeline of this hat would be appreciated.
