Is this a military belt? Rare? Valuable?

Thrifted this today. Seems to be WWll British. The buckle at least - the leather may well be a replacement. Looks too fresh and seems a bit narrow for the fittings. Any info on this from those of you with knowledge in this area?

Yes, that's a "King's Crown" device. I thought it might be a regimental motto, but dependable "Google" says it's the royal motto.

Not to hijack the thread, which seems done anyway, but I concede Curly was the finest third stooge, although Shemp was better than the lamentable Curly Joe, and after all, he was Moe's real brother with a slightly better haircut. Really though, stepping into Curly's shoes was an impossible task. He was perfect.

Ok, now...fftopic:...(We need Maj. Nick Danger to comment here.) Granted that Curly was a genius, but Shemp was actually the more polished comedian. As you imply, we're comparing apples and oranges (or, in this case, nuts)... So what else did we find out about the belt?lol
