So I've never owned a TRD (that I recall), but many similar. I like the leather and its "pullup" effect. Should make a nice non-black addition to your collection.

Seeing some other men posting on this subject has me thinking. As much as I love this forum and love leather flight jackets and leather utility jackets…I just have too many.
I just received my last M-422A from Bill Kelso and now kinda feeling regret.
There is so much more I could have done with that money. I currently have 9.
2 ELC m-422a’s, 1 AVI m-422a, 1 Buzz Rickson G-1, 1 Cockpit USA G-1, 1 Five Star A-2, 1 RMCNZ m-422a, 1 Bill Kelso m-422a and 1 original G&F m-422a.

Needing to sell and see if I can recoup some $$$

Took a punt on a fairly inexpensive mystery jacket on Vinted because it looks like it might be a Branded (which are hard to find in the UK, particularly in my size!)—we’ll see if I’m right when it gets here. Also hoping the patch is not too firmly attached…

Update: It was in no way a Branded! It was also a size larger than advertised so back it goes…

I think it was this thread where some were complaining about ordering from Bill Kelso was hit-or-miss. Apparently I swung and got a miss.

Ordered one of their jackets a year ago (don't remember what model), and there has been zero correspondence on their part. I emailed them a couple times and first, was told that it was being cut and they wanted to confirm the size. Several months later after not hearing anything I emailed them again. Now I am being told that there is a WORLDWIDE shortage of Talon zippers with no due date as to when more will appear. Really?!

All "new" Talon zippers are made elsewhere by other companies now. It's basically just a "brand" now.

Amazing! I love the look of a shawl collar on a straight-zip jacket a lot personally(looks amazing with any shirt for example), and I really thinks it adds something "extra" compared to a regular shirt collar jacket

For example, I did change the collar to a shawl one on my first custom Thedi order and I'm super happy I did
