Dang, this jacket looks awesome. Congrats!Arrived yesterday, after Aero kindly remade it due to sizing issues.
Aero Original Hercules in Black Badalassi.
Olive contrast stitching, olive cotton liner, YKK zipper. Let me tell you: The hide is the bomb! Very luxurious hand; substantial yet pliable. The smell is sublime too. Will be quite some journey to see this break in.
Unfortunately, I do have too many black jackets now. Need to think hard about that.
Dismal photo, I know. The facial expression does in no way mirror my pleasure. Was just throwing the Herc on today to make a quick picture. Will seek to capture the hide and details better when the weather lights up (and before it gets too hot/humid again for ANY jacket).#

@TREEMAN I posted pictures on the Vehicle owned by outerwear members tread post 170Pics of the boat ASAP !!
Still standing!Far too small for me. Shame. This is an absolutely bad *** cop jacket. All talon hardware, heavy as Hell, great cut but likely a size 40” or maybe even a 38”. Couldn’t get it on.

I don't know how much she weighs, but Stu said she was super thick and heavy, apparently they used 5+oz leather and lined some of the pockets (the patch pockets and the hidden gusset pocket) in their heavy canvas. I am expecting an absolute beast!
It isn't an exact copy of the Appalachian, more a LW interpretation than a real repro, but i think it really came out great.
Unfortunately i am leaving on sunday for a hike across Corsica (Gr 20) and won't be able to see it untill i come back on the 15th of July, i can't wait!
If any of you guys are into it, it should be available on the website soon...
This one needs re-posting time to time. Cause we all need to cry about the girl...err...jacket that got away. This is as good a time as any to post the ultimate Vanson, ultimate trucker and ultimate leather jacket that ever was and will be.

Just delivered, German mc jacket. Probably 50s or 60s. Other German jackets from the era that I've handled all had a very thick topcoat and were therefore very stiff. This one has a modest topcoat and drapes very nicely. Moleskin lining, satin sleeve lining, storm cuffs, beautiful machined belt buckle, ball and chain 'Ruhr' zipper pulls. The Germans really knew how to make a nice mc jacket. Why aren't we seeing more of these here on the lounge?
Too bad it's not my size

Thats really useful pocket design. I thought I came up with it but I guess not. It’s like having two D pockets without the D patch. Left handed or not still works, and the **** in the pockets gets pushed to the sides and not poking at the belly like regular hand warmer type pockets.Just delivered, German mc jacket.
