Aero uses a #5 talon (as standard) I believe.

Yep. So long as you didn’t spec a Walde’s or a hookless I believe the #5 talon is the garden variety, house zip. I’d send a message to Aero to confirm and maybe they can help you out.

I ended up finding the original male insertion pin for my Aero last night. I must have moved it's original spot when I first discovered it came loose and when cleaning my house and lifting some papers, which happened to be a pattern for a pair of boots I make, the pin dropped to the ground right at my feet. Happy days!
