I came across these while surfing the internet for a fine pair of shoes... can't seem to find anywhere in the entire US to buy them however... Was hoping to get some thoughts on them? Are there any US distributors? How are they, worth the $800?

I especially love the heavy sole and metal reinforced sole tip..

The style of shoe is called a Budapester. Dinkelacker and Vass, both located in Budapest, are the only RTW makers and both are of very high quality. Unfortunately, neither brands are sold in America at this time. But all is not lost as this seller specializes in fitting American customers.
