Stopped by the Vermont Spirits Distilling yesterday. Their signature product is Vodka made from maple sap, among other distillery products They offer samples, and I bit, bought, and brought home a bottle of the Vermont Gold Vodka.


A Black Sheep favorite felt behind the bottle.

Thanks Bob. It's an Olympia Club spring lever made in Switzerland in the '70's I think (can't remember the serial number for the date). It has a nice big brass boiler, hot water valve on the left, steam valve on the right so it serves as my hat steamer too. There is a '60's Italian Arrarex Caravel manual lever/open boiler that sits beside it (220v with a step down transformer). I've cleaned, lubed & rebuilt both of them with new seals, springs, etc.

Vintage espresso machines & coffee grinders are another passion of mine. Here's a pic without all the clutter.
