have you seen Donzoko? it's one of Kurosawas most underrated films. Mifune is in that also.

and let's not forget him in Yojimbo.... oh heavens yes. (remembers how yummy he is in said film)

My favorite is Drunken Angel, with Stray Dog a close second. Seven Samurai is in a class by itself...

you're not wrong about Seven Samurai you know. my jaw was on the floor for days after i first saw it. i managed to see it at the cinema. oh good lord. amazing.

my other favourites are Ran(possibly my favourite kurosawa) and Kagemusha.

not seen stray dog as yet. i'm saving up to get all of his work...
