Golden Era Graduation Portraits?

Does anyone have some good examples of men's Golden Era college graduation portraits? I'll be graduating in May and would like to have a portrait done for my out of state friends and family who won't be able to attend the ceremony, as well as for my parents and immediate family. I'd like it to be classic, and was wondering what 50s-era grad portraits look like (I doubt there are many from the 30s/40s, considering the economic state and war, but, if you've got them, they'd be neat to see, too).

Were college portraits any different (did they include cap and gown?) or were they similar to the high school portraits?
