There was something ... honest? ... about the 1920s and 1930s when it comes to this ... the actresses/women didn't mind not looking glamorous like today models have to look, you know long hair and ***iness and all that ... they just went for it ... even if they didn't look attractive.
I'm not saying I like it or not, I am just manifesting a personal opinion
