Giant Pith Helmet Thread of Doom

All super interesting stuff! Thanks! I need to find a Walter Barnard advertisement or catalog from around 1899 to see what they called this type of pith helmet. I’ve seen referrals to this type as Polo-style pith helmet but even the author acknowledged that he was not certain that these were dedicated strictly for polo or if they were both polo and field wear at least late 19th and early 20th century.
