Any suggestions as to G-1 knit repair/ replacement in the San Diego,CA area?

I called them and they'll only repair G&B (or their predecessors) jackets.

Johnson Leather in San Francisco isn't southern Cal, but it isn't too far from you. Also Dena in Illinois does excellent work.

Anyone have specific suggestions for San Diego?

If you ever drive up north a little bit, the Cal Leathers shop in Ventura can do it. They replaced two knit sets on a couple old Schott flight jackets I have. Did a great job for like $110 each.

San Diego Leather did a good job on my thrift store find G-1. There were some extra stitch lines and other aspects, so I might not send a collectible jacket to them. They did a good job for an everyday wear jacket, though.
