Up for grabs is an oddly sized Bates Cafe Racer that I took a chance on and cannot begin to put it on. Due to its' sizing, I am offering this for the shipping cost only of $25 (CONUS only). If someone from another country wants it, I'll ship it to you but at the actual shipment cost.

The jacket itself appears to be a 70's or early 80's Bates cafe racer, appears to have been ordered as an un-lined jacket with double leather patches on the shoulders & arms. It's a nice weight of Cowhide/Steerhide with nice grain showing - not broken in yet. The jacket is clean an appears to have rarely, if ever have been worn. Red upper and black lower panels, this is an eye-catching jacket that would work well on a motorcycle for a person it will fit. No smoke or mildew odors, stains, rips or loose seams. It could literally pass as a new jacket. Talon brass main zipper, YKK black sleeve zippers. It's possible this jacket has its sleeves updated, shortened, after initial production by Bates. There is a black marker line across the "Bates" tag, I do not know why this is the case.

A true racing shirt- this jacket has a large wind-flap, and No Pockets.

Fit details - This one is quite tricky to classify, and I hesitate to put any sort of size to it, so I guess I'll say "small to medium" with a long back and short sleeves. Confusing - Right? The longer back I get being a motorcycle-specific jacket.

Dimensions (also on photos below) --
Pit to Pit - 19.75"
Shoulders - 17"
Back - 25"
Front - down zipper - 19"
Waist - 18.25"
Sleeves - 20.5"

So this is nearly a short-sleeve jacket. Please just be aware of this.

The crossed out label usually indicates that the jacket was not first quality and didn't sell under normal retail policy (eg with a warranty) due to some disclosed defect.

The sleeve length is curious, and suggests that the wearer was intending to wear long gauntlet style gloves.
