Hey everybody I recently saw a leather riding vest for sale from this brand Fourspeed leather out of Japan. I started looking into the brand and it seems like a small Japanese brand focused on actual motorcycle jackets. It gives me like Japanese Langlitz vibes. Which is just what I am looking for really. I was thinking how I wish I could find a single jacket that’s thick comfortable on my motorcycle but also trim and good looking enough to be my one and only leather jacket. Currently I ride in a thick bulky lost worlds j24 but the arms are huge and over the years the leather has really lost its luster. I anlso just bought an Vanson aloha commando here but it’s like a bathrobe it’s so long I think I’m going to have to have it shortened. Anybody have experience with this FOURSPEED? I know they have worked with iron heart before. They seem to mostly use cowhide. But it’s a super small website and i haven’t had a lot of luck finding second hand.

They're good, i have one of their iron heart collabs and previously had a rider. Not too common second hand even in the jpn market, especially bigger sizes.

Iron heart, second hand thru an importer, or maybe try to purchase direct. They are on instagram too

Search フォースピード on the import websites like buyee or fromjapan and set the category to clothing/ fashion

From what I've heard, their 'uncrowd' collaboration jackets are somewhat lower quality than their main line

I've purchased an Iron Heart Cafe Racer from Self Edge that was made for them by Four Speed, as I understand it. Very happy with it.

Here’s my four speed jacket. Love it to bits (though my one is definitely a fashion one. Far too thin for actual bike wear):

Oooh I really like this one, cool model and it fits you perfectly!

I've seen some FOURSPEED-jackets on the second hand market, rarely in size 40 or bigger though(and the patterns seems to run small from what I've seen online), which is sad as they have some really nice looking models and seems to go for a decent price still :)

Cheers

Thanks! Yep, like most Japanese jackets they run a bit small (though my four speed runs relatively less small than brands like TFH and RMC). In schott I wear a 40, in most Japanese brands I wear a 42 (though these can still be somewhat slim). This four speed is a 42, but less slim
