Two thoughts:
1) I should not enjoy watching a steam engine train as much as I do
2) It seems I remember the FS hitting north of a hundred (or am I confusing it with another famous UK train)?

That's supposed to be an incredible train. The fastest train I've ever been on is the Acela (it hit 141 - they announced it).
